Compassionate & Skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN)

We’re currently expanding our team and are seeking experienced RGNs to provide exceptional care across a range of healthcare settings including hospitals, residential homes, and supported living facilities in South West England. Experience

Minimum 1 year of post-qualification nursing experience in hospital or community settings.
Newly qualified nurses with strong clinical placement experience are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centred nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and manage treatment interventions in line with NMC standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Maintain clear, accurate records of care using appropriate documentation.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and inclusivity in all care interactions.
• Act as a mentor and support to junior staff and healthcare assistants when needed.

Skills Must Have

• Current and valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Strong clinical skills, with sound judgment and excellent patient-handling abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff.
• A flexible and proactive attitude to working various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations calmly.
• Understanding of infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety protocols.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and best practice care.
